London, June 2021 - Following the announcement from Silverstone Circuit that the FORMULA 1® PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2021 will go ahead as planned and at full capacity from Friday 16 July – Sunday 18 July 2021 it is set to be one of the most anticipated races of the 2021 Formula 1® season. The race weekend will see the inaugural running of the new Sprint Qualifying format announced by Formula 1® and the FIA earlier in the year. The modified schedule will see the traditional qualifying session take place on Friday afternoon, which will define the grid for a Sprint Qualifying race on Saturday. The results of the Sprint Qualifying race will then determine the grid for Sunday’s Grand Prix.
